Long lines to get a drink, bartender didnt know how to make a strawberry daiquiri, short staffed, no one ever checked on us to see if we needed anything, kitchen forgot my bread with my fish meal, white Alaskan fish was not what I expected - could have been much better quality. Staff was not wearing masks.

This place was one of a kind. We went on a Friday night and it was packed. Probably not the best place to take our hungry 1 year old. But the food was some of the best seafood we have had in the southern Illinois/Southeast Missouri area. The service was wonderful and it was just a great atmosphere! We will definitely be going back in the summer!

Read the reviews and we were looking forward to going. It was not crowded but we waited almost an hour after we ordered for our food. We ordered the Blue gill plate, it was very fishy tasting like catfish. Only half of my "Joes fries" were done, so they ended up tough and goey. The coleslaw was tasteless, just chopped cabbage with a scant amount of vinegar. Not sure what the issues were when we went but it sure was disappointing.

Everything goes great at this place so go eat the great food and enjoy your self.

The grilled shrimp skewer was savory! The brisket was tender. Batter on the fish was seasoned perfectly. Then the mixed drinks were yummy. Well worth the hour and a half drive .

It's a fried fish place so order fried fish and you won't be disappointed. Delicious.

Fun, local place, real cold beer a great fish and chips ...I love spicy stuff and their one of a kind homemade sauce is amazing!!! Definitely worth eating at if your just visiting...I'm a local and have been eating there since I was a kid!!!

We purchased two fish dinners. I had catfish and my fiancee had bluegill and both were delicious! The breaded cauliflower and portobello mushrooms were good too.

First time there, great food.

This is out in a remote area to some.. but it has good service. It also has liquor.😉 It's a good place to gather with friends and have some beers and fish . It has other food as well. I just love the fish there it's sooooooo good

This is the 3rd time we've been and the food....catfish filet strips...are fabulous. Also really enjoy the Joe fries (kettle fried chips ( and coleslaw. The fried corn nuggets are also delicious. Wish we lived closer!!!!
